Our story begins with two powerhouse brands. Smarty Training, created by world champion team roper Allen Bach, redefined how ropers prepare by introducing some of the most anatomically accurate training dummies on the market. Heel-O-Matic earned its reputation as a trusted name in roping equipment, building a loyal following through quality, durability, and performance.

In 2022, Smarty Training and Heel-O-Matic came together, with Smarty Supply Co. added as the hub for products, and we officially formed Smarty Rodeo. What began as two respected brands became one united company with a broader mission: to serve rodeo athletes across every discipline while supporting the western way of life.

Today, Smarty Rodeo proudly offers the industry’s leading training equipment, including innovative roping machines and tools like the Smarty Bronc and Smarty Bulldogger—designed for saddle bronc riders, bareback riders, steer wrestlers, goat tyers, and more. Every product is developed by a passionate in-house team focused on performance, realism, and reliability.

Based in Mount Pleasant, Texas, Smarty Supply Co. is home to a 7,500-square-foot retail space offering training equipment alongside saddles, tack, ropes, apparel, bits, spurs, animal health supplies, and Bluebonnet and Purina feed.
